October 2009 Bunco Bust

Paulette was on the schedule to host our October Bunco, but with so many other schedule conflicts, babes being out of town and what not, we had to cancel/reschedule Paulette's hosting duties - sorry Paulette!  But thanks to Paulette's unfortunate happening, a new "rule" was born.  As a majority decision was made that no matter how many or how few people can or can not make the date that the hostess has chosen, the evening will go on!  Either substitutes and/or ghosts will be used, less or more tables will be used or it will be the hostess' choice to play another dice, card or board game, but we will not cancel and our evening out will still happen!

Thanks to Heather B. for hosting a wonderful Bunco yet again, thanks to Christina for being our designated driver and a big thanks to all who came, brought apps and had a great time!  We all loaded into Christina's 'burban from Spring and headed out.  We had a first timer this month, our 3rd Heather of the group, and she took the pot!  First time's a charm - Congrats!

July was a double hostess whammy, Heather M. and Jessica decided to team up and share the duties of hosting this month. Jessica's birthday was in the beginning of July, so we decided to surprise her with some cupcakes and a little ballad called Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Jessica! We brought in some new people, kept some "oldies" and had a great turn out with lots of Margaritas and lots of Funco!

My first Bunco ever! I was graciously invited by Jessica to join her Bunco group for the night, I had never heard of, let alone played Bunco, so reluctant at first - but why not. It was a great night, met some new people and hopefully joined a continuing monthly night out with a fabulous group of "Babes"!
